Workforce Development Fund (WDF) Partnership Bid: Skills for Care

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As you are probably aware, for Social Care Providers to claim Skills for Care Workforce Development Funding (WDF) for the current funding year, (1st January 2017 to 31st March 2018), you are required to go online and apply direct via the Skills for Care portal. Previously, this was distributed and administered by Lancashire Workforce Development Partnership (LWDP). However, following their closure back in December 2016, Providers were left with no alternative but to apply for and administer the funding individually.

The Good News

The good news is, we will be putting forward a bid to become the Lead Partner in Lancashire for Skills for Care WDF Funding.

As you know, we have a large and well established Social Care Network which focuses on addressing and supporting staff recruitment, retention and development. We have also recently obtained the expertise of Lorraine Ashton to administer applications for funding. Most will recall that Lorraine was the WDF Administrator who was the lead and dealt with the funding bid at LWDP. We therefore believe we are suitably placed to be the Lead Partner in Lancashire.

How to Join

In order for us to begin the initial stages of the bid, it would help us greatly if you would spend some time completing the Training Needs Analysis Form. This will enable us to identify, establish and demonstrate what level of funding is required and if there are any gaps in training that need to be explored further.

The information you supply will be used in our bid to support the need for funding for training which, I’m sure you will agree, is essential for the development of a highly skilled workforce.

Don’t Miss Out!

Please could you return the completed form to, who will collate all required information.

If you have any questions or need assistance with this, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us here at One Stop Social.

We do hope you feel that our work in this area will not only promote best practice within the sector but will ultimately improve the care delivered by Social Care Professionals.[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”DOWNLOAD THE TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS FORM” color=”warning” align=”center” link=”||target:%20_blank|rel:nofollow”][vc_btn title=”EMAIL US YOUR TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS FORM” color=”inverse” align=”center” link=”||target:%20_blank|rel:nofollow”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
