Social Work and Care Convention Partners

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We’re not sure we’ve mentioned this over the past few weeks but One Stop Social are organising our first ever convention. There have been one or two (or fifty) tweets about it and the marketing team are having too much fun finding gifs they can link to Work and Care Together.[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”We’re slightly keen, to put it mildly.”][vc_column_text]With over 35 partner companies involved and at least 1000 people expected to attend, Work and Care Together will be a chance to bring together as much of social work and care to prompt discussions about the current issues we face. Plus we’re being extra nice and the whole event (training sessions, access to the exhibition and innovation presentations) is completely free!

It’ll be on Monday 11th June, with doors opening at 9:30am – for a full breakdown, check out the event card on our website! Based in Newcastle, this company is already developing international relationships, so we’re sure their incorporation of technology and care is an idea worth hearing about!


Co-founders Christina Colmer McHugh and Jonathan Elvidge will be there to help us understand their new method for helping mental health issues. Moodbeam is a tool that log moods and visualises it, so that over time you, or someone you care about or for, can see how they’ve been feeling when they’re not with you.


CEO Lorena Puica and Communications Manager Mimi Corden-Lloyd will be teaching us all about their smart health assistant Syd and the iamYiam method to help clients select the best natural health experiences tailored precisely to who they are. We’re sure this will change our perspectives on our health completely!

With over 3 million registered online learners, Virtual College have been developing and supplying collaborative, customer-focused e-learning technology for organisations world-wide for 22 years. Including technology in the way we learn across the whole industry could help social work and care become more accessible professions.

Good Gym

We’ll be hearing from Alexander Kenmure, Head of Business Development at Good Gym, who’ll encourage us all to “get fit, do good”. Good gym are helping those around them by organising runs that benefit the local community or help out older people. You can go on individual or group runs, all of which have a social purpose and give you a sense of fulfilment, beyond the benefits of exercise.
